An Update Regarding the Operations of Small | Herrin
Small | Herrin is continuing to monitor all developments related to the novel SARS Coronavirus-2 and COVID-19. We continue to follow all guidance issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Georgia Department of Public Health during the current public health emergency. During this time, our primary concern is for the health and well-being of our clients, employees, and partners in the community.
Effective as of 6:00pm Friday April 3, 2020, the Governor of Georgia has issued a “shelter-in-place” Executive Order requiring all Georgians to remain in their homes with limited exceptions. While law firms are consider “critical infrastructure” under the Governor’s Order, the partners of Small | Herrin have decided that our workforce may work remotely during the effective time of the Governor’s Order. Our attorneys and employees have the technological resources to work remotely in a secure and safe environment. While our physical office may be “closed,” we continue to meet with clients through either telephone or video conferences. We are continuing to work on client matters and advise clients during the current crisis to serve our clients’ needs. Our contact information remains the same during this time. However, if you need to send anything to our office by courier or overnight delivery, please contact one of our attorneys to determine where to send it.
We continue to closely follow all the legislation coming from Washington to address the current economic situation. For the latest on the CARES Act, please review our News and Blog Posts page. We will be posting more updates soon.
While we all hope this crisis will pass quickly, we also recognize some clients need help now. Please know all the attorneys at Small | Herrin are ready and able to help advise and provide wise counsel as we all navigate the new “normal.” We are only a phone call or email away.
We will make it through this crisis. Please stay healthy and safe. We look forward to working with you soon.
